Using healthy skincare
We can experience a whole range of skin problems such as:
These problems can occur from time to time or on an ongoing basis. They may be triggered by environmental conditions, such as dry or cold weather; or stress that arises from work, family or events.
To properly address a skin problem, a wholistic approach is best.
Do a Skin Test. Firstly, understand your skin. A skin test will help you discover the strengths and weaknesses of you skin and can take less than 5 minutes.
What is your Ideal Routine? The results of the skin test will help reveal the right type of product that will be most beneficial to your skin. For example dry skin responds better to a cleanser balm; however cleanser oil works better on oily skin.
Take time to Nurture You. You are not going to heal well if you are starved of time for self care. Take time each day to nurture you - even just 15 minutes. This helps you to feel more balanced and more able to tackle any challenges you may face. Use your daily skincare routine as dedicated you-time, to help feel positive about yourself and your day. Or take a walk in nature or enjoy a warming drink with a friend.
Nurture Others. With your 'cup filled' from nurturing you, you can better nurture others. Friends, loved ones and strangers can all benefit from a small amount of kindness or attention. Nurturing others helps take the focus off ourselves and helps us be more connected, joyful and purposeful.
